2002 Pruning Swenson Vineyards (11/2002) In November 2002, we were invited to help prune Elmer Swenson’s vineyard in western Wisconsin. What a treat! It was our first real experience pruning on a large scale and we had a chance to rub elbows with the likes of Elmer Swenson, Tom Plocher and the Marshalls from Great River Vineyard. |
| 2002 season Our first year! We planted a little more than half our vineyard in late May and early June 2002 including Valiant, Prairie Star and Frontenac. |
